An art gallery or art museum is a building or space for the exhibition of art, usually visual art. Museums can be public or private, but what distinguishes a museum is the ownership of a collection. Paintings are the most commonly displayed art objects; however, sculpture, decorative arts, furniture, textiles, costume, drawings, pastels, watercolors, collages, prints, artists' books, photographs, and installation art are also regularly shown. Although primarily concerned with providing a space to show works of visual art, art galleries are sometimes used to host other artistic activities, such as performance art, music concerts, or poetry readings. Q. I have to give a speech for a speech class I'm taking. It's an informative speech and I hate speeches so I figured why not give a speech on Chuck Norris's martial arts career and make it fun. I can only use two internet sources. So do any of you know any sites where I can find a "martial arts" bio on him? -Thanks Asked by - Sat Oct 30 22:27:18 2010 - Martial Arts - 4 Answers - Comments A. worldmartialartinfo.com dojo.com Answered by nwohioguy - Sun Oct 31 11:26:56 2010 From Yahoo Answer Search: "artists and galleries" |
